What we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
This policy explains what information Blazeworthy collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
Our guiding principle is to collect only what we need in order to answer you. That is why this site has no accounts, no payment fields, and a contact form with five boxes on it.
Who you are dealing with
This site is operated by Blazeworthy. If you want to talk to a person about anything on this page, email info@blazeworthy.com or call (888) 225-2931. There is no privacy department to be routed through.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not share it with anyone beyond the providers named further down this page.
- We do not ask you to create an account to read anything here.
- We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site.
- We do not use what you send us to train AI models, and we do not give it to anyone else to train theirs.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly. When you submit the contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you provide one
- Your business name, if you provide one
- The content of your message
The form also includes a hidden spam-detection field. It is not used to build a profile of you.
How we use it
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, to follow up about our services, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you.
Where it is stored
Submissions are recorded in the database behind this website. That database is hosted by Sliplane, a German company, which runs on infrastructure operated by Hetzner. The record kept there is the copy we work from, and it exists whether or not the transfers below succeed.
Who we share it with
We use the following providers to receive and act on enquiries:
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), our customer relationship management platform, which stores your contact record and our conversation history.
- Discord receives an internal notification containing a record number, not your name, email, phone number, or message.
Each of these providers processes your information under their own terms and privacy policies. We share information with them only to operate this contact process, never for their own marketing.
How we protect it
We would rather describe this plainly than claim more than we do. What is in place today:
- The site is served over an encrypted connection, and browsers are instructed to refuse an unencrypted one.
- Enquiry records can only be read by signed-in Blazeworthy staff. No page on this site exposes them, and there is no public route to them.
- The contact form is rate limited and screened for automated submissions.
- We collect no payment details at any point, so there are none to lose.
If something goes wrong
If information you gave us were exposed, we would tell you. We would say what happened, what was affected, and what we were doing about it, and we would do that as soon as we understood the situation rather than waiting for a deadline to force it. Where the law requires us to notify a regulator as well, we would.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not require a visitor account. When enabled, analytics and live chat load third-party resources; those providers receive your IP address when your browser requests their resources. The fonts are hosted by this website:
- Our font files are served by this website. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts to display them.
- Google Tag Manager, which we use to measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Tag Manager is a container, so the specific cookies it sets depend on the tags configured inside it at the time you visit. These are used for analytics and measurement, not for selling your information.
- GoHighLevel, which serves the live chat widget. If the widget is present on the page it stores data in your browser so a conversation can continue across pages and visits.
We also measure page performance, meaning how quickly pages load and become usable, and send those measurements through Google Tag Manager. That data describes the performance of the page, not you.
Your IP address is held briefly in memory to limit how many times the contact form can be submitted from one place, which is what stops the form being abused. It is not stored alongside your enquiry.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking them will not stop you using this site, though the chat widget may not work correctly.
Turning analytics off
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site does not load analytics at all. No measurement container is requested and no Google cookie is set. The check happens before the loader runs, so it cannot be undone by a tag added later.
Global Privacy Control is built into some browsers and available as an extension for the rest. Turning it on covers this site and every other site that honours it, which is a better outcome than a banner you have to click on each one.
How long we keep it
How long we hold your information depends on what came of the enquiry:
- If you contact us and do not become a client, we keep the enquiry for 24 months, then delete it. This lets us pick up the thread if you come back to us later.
- If you become a client, we keep service correspondence while we work together and for one year afterward. Accounting records or records subject to a legal preservation requirement follow the applicable retention requirements instead.
- If you ask us to delete your information, we do so promptly, keeping only what we are legally required to keep, such as records of invoices already issued.
The same periods apply to the copy held in our customer relationship management platform.
Where in the world it goes
Blazeworthy operates from the United States. GoHighLevel, Discord and Google are United States companies, so anything sent to them is handled under US law. If you contact us from outside the US, that transfer is happening, and we would rather say so than bury it, because for some people it is the deciding factor in whether to write to us at all.
The website database is the exception. It is hosted by Sliplane, a German company operating under European law, on Hetzner infrastructure inside the European Union. So the enquiry you send through the form is stored in the EU, even though the copy that reaches our customer relationship management platform is held in the United States.
Children
This site sells marketing services to businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
Decisions about you
Nothing on this site scores, profiles, or makes an automated decision about you. A person reads what you send and a person replies to it.
Your choices
We extend the following to everyone who contacts us, wherever you live, rather than only to people covered by a particular law:
- You can ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- You can ask us to delete it.
- You can tell us to stop contacting you, and we will stop.
- You can ask us not to share it with the third parties named above, though we may then be unable to respond to your enquiry.
Use the data request form for any of these, or email info@blazeworthy.com if you would rather write to us directly. We confirm receipt, and we respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for making a request, and we will not treat you differently for having made one.
If we need to confirm you are who you say you are before acting on a request, we will ask. That check is what stops somebody else asking for your information.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom: we process your information to respond to the enquiry you sent us and to pursue our legitimate interest in following up about our services. You may object to that follow-up at any time, and you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date shown at the top of this page.
For a change that materially affects you, such as a new third party receiving your information, a new purpose we put it to, or a longer retention period, we will tell the people who have contacted us before that change takes effect. We will not rely on you noticing a new date, and we will not apply a more permissive policy retroactively to information you gave us under an earlier one.
